Sony D-66 - Is it worth?

Hello,

Is it worth having a Sony D-66? It has a uPD6376 dual DAC with 8x oversampling and an SF-89S optical pickup block. What are the pros and cons?

Being a classic vintage portable CD player, you can have one if the price is with in your budget.
Pros:
It has huge bass, BP2EX battery, laser and spindle motor are still available for replace if anything happens.
Cons:
Not top line of the audio quality, too many plastic so looks cheap. Disc holder is easy to be broken.

If price is not too high and in good working condition, you can get one to play with.
