I have sony discman D-T2 and D-T24 (which running fine)
My DT2 have a problem: First of all it does not regconize the cd, I replace the optical head and it can regcognize the cd and play well but when I play Cd, there is only noise (on output and phone). I tried to replace main board of Dt2 to optical part of Dt24 and same problem so I think the problem is on main board of DT2. I don't know how to continue now. Please help me to fix DT2? Thanks.
It should be related to DSP, DAC part, before analog audio is generated. My suggestion, buy another DT2 for motherboard from eBay by $20 instead of repair; unless you do prefer repairing its digital part.
